Which heater control type do I need?

Manual Mode (no WiFi): Installation though hardwiring to your fuse box. Requires an isolation switch to turn on or off by a permanent wall switch.

Wireless Mode (WiFi option 1): Connects heater unit(s) to your WiFi network via the eWelink app, allowing control of on/off and heat outputs. Installation though hardwiring to a ZigBee Dual WiFi Smart Switch, and this unit will be in line with your fuse box. Requires 1x Dual WiFi Smart Switch (per heater); WiFi connection; eWelink App (free download).

Wireless Sensor Mode (WiFi option 2): Control the heater via one or more device (smartphone, tablet etc) using the eWelink app. ZigBee Bridge allows additional accessories such as the Wireless Switch (Remote Control) and/or a Motion Sensor to control your heater. Installation though hardwiring to a ZigBee Dual WiFi Smart Switch, and this unit will be in line with your fuse box. Requires 1x Dual WiFi Smart Switch (per heater); 1x ZigBee Bridge; 1x ZigBee Wireless Switch (Remote Control) and/or ZigBee Motion Sensor; WiFi connection; eWelink App (free download).

Note: This appliance does not work off a single isolation switch or dimmer system. A 2 gang switch is necessary to ensure both elements can operate independently. It is very important the installer understands that there are “2 active switch lines”. This feature is unique to Heatscope heating appliance units.

2-Year Limited Warranty: Yard Art Warrants radiant heating units and accessories to be free from defects in parts and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. In the event of such defects Yard Art will, at its option, replace the defective product or refund the purchase price. The foregoing is the exclusive remedy and Yard Art disclaims all other warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Yard Art will not be responsible for consequential damages in excess of the purchase price of the product on which such liability is based.
