Warranty - Concrete Products

WARRANTY
Yard Art will, at anytime within two (2) years from date of purchase, repair, or at our option, replace any concrete products which Yard Art determines is defective in material or workmanship.

EXCLUSIONS
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, accidental damages, scuffs or scratches, improper installation, negligence or damage caused by improper maintenance or cleaning, custom paint colors, improper storage conditions, lightening, or natural disasters. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear. Damage caused by impurities or acts beyond our control are not covered. Any product or part that has been repaired or altered in any manner outside of Yard Art, unless previously authorized in writing by Yard Art, will void warranty. This warranty does not allow recovery of incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use, damage to property or other consequential damage, and Yard Art accepts no liability for such damage. Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause injury or property damage.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY
Should the product(s) fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement. We will not be held liable to you or any other party for any damages that result from the failure of this product. Damage excluded include, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment, and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In No event will Yard Art be liable for more than the amount of your purchase price, not to exceed the current list price of the product, and excluding tax, shipping and handling charges, duties and taxes.

Yard Art disclaims any other warranties, express or implied. By installing or using the product, the user accepts all terms described herein. The Yard Art warranty is limited to the above conditions and to the warranty period specified herein and is exclusive.

Return shipping costs to be paid for by Customer. The cost of shipping to the manufacturer, or authorized repair center, or payment of any customs clearance fees and duties are the responsibilities of the consumer.

Concrete Products have a 30 year plus expected life.  They are made with the following specifications:

CONCRETE SPECIFICATIONS – STOCK MATERIALS:          

Local, washed torpedo sand (tan color).  Local – 3/8” pea gravel (tan color).  Cement – very light gray color:  7 – 7 ½ bags per cubic yard.  Water Reducers used to increase strength and durability.

Chemical entrained air – 6-8% causes concrete to be more salt and chloride resistant.  Average strength after 28 days 5000 PSI plus.  Concrete cured indoors under plastic cover for 5 to 7 days at

70 degrees before exposure to outside air.  Reinforcing:  wire, wire mesh, reinforcing bars, or plastic fibers are used where needed to reinforce or strengthen our products.

CONCRETE FINISH:

Natural local 3/8” stone exposed aggregate (unless other aggregates or cement colors have been specially ordered); same material thru entire unit, no veneers, nothing glued on.  Any dirt or graffiti on these products can be high pressure washed or sandblasted to give the product a like new appearance.

DOMES AND LINERS:

Metal or plastic domes and liners carry a twelve month warranty from the manufacturer to be free of defects and workmanship.  The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part when returned to point of shipment.  Warranty does not apply to any product which is damaged by careless or incorrect handling or use of said products.

IPE LUMBER:

Ipe Lumber is an Imported Brazilian Hardwood.

RECYCLED PLASTIC LUMBER:

Manufacturer uses HDPE recycled plastic lumber made of recycled milk jugs.  It is not expected to absorb moisture, rot, or splinter.  The recycled plastic comes in many UV stabilized colors.
